This 6-week course sits within our ongoing Adult Art Programme and is designed for those who want to move beyond the basics and develop greater confidence and control in acrylic painting.

Rather than a step-by-step beginners’ introduction, this course focuses on progression — helping you strengthen technique, understand colour and composition more deeply, and create more resolved, personal work within a supportive studio setting.

Across the six weeks, you will explore layering, brush handling, colour relationships, structure, and surface development, with guided tuition balanced alongside supported studio practice. The emphasis is on learning how to make decisions as a painter, not just follow instruction.
