​Our Adult Focus Courses are short, structured blocks designed to help you explore specific materials or skills in more depth, alongside our ongoing Adult Studio Art Programme.

​

Each focus course runs for a set number of weeks and is taught by highly qualified and experienced art teachers in a relaxed, supportive studio environment. They are perfect if you’d like to develop confidence in a particular medium, revisit the fundamentals, or enjoy a guided creative project with clear direction.

​

You don’t need previous experience for most focus courses — beginners are always welcome — and many students choose to combine a focus course with their regular studio class.

​

Focus courses change throughout the year and may include:

  • Drawing Foundations

  • Watercolour Foundations

  • Acrylic Painting Foundations

  • Art Fundamentals (Line, Tone & Colour)

  • Printmaking

  • Mixed Media & Experimental Processes

All materials are included, and small class sizes ensure plenty of individual guidance.

Art Fundamentals: Introductory course

Your ideal art school starter pack – build core skills in line, tone, colour, and composition through structured drawing and painting sessions.

Drawing Foundations
