A weekly, ongoing studio art class for adults who want to build skills, confidence and consistency — in a calm, supportive studio environment.
Our Adult Studio Art Programme is designed for long-term learning. Rather than booking separate themed courses, students join an ongoing weekly class and develop their abilities gradually over time, guided by highly qualified and experienced art teachers.
Beginners are very welcome.
The Adult Studio Art Programme runs as an ongoing weekly studio class rather than a fixed-start course, so there’s no set “start date” — you can join at any point, and classes are already underway.
What to Expect Each Week
Each session follows a simple, supportive structure:
1) A short teaching focus (10–15 mins)
A demonstration or mini-lesson introducing a skill, technique, artist inspiration, or creative challenge.
2) Supported studio time
You can either follow the focus exercise or continue with your own project.
3) One-to-one guidance throughout
Our teachers circulate and provide individual feedback, adjusted challenges, and technical support — tailored to your level and goals.
Because students often come in at different stages and work on their own projects, we don’t publish a rigid week-by-week timetable. However, if there’s a particular medium or skill you’re keen to focus on during your block of 6 sessions, this can be worked on during the lesson with guidance.
This keeps classes structured and skill-based, while still allowing freedom and personal direction.
Can I Focus on Something Specific?
Yes — absolutely.
If there’s a particular direction you’d like to work towards (for example drawing, portraits, landscapes, watercolour, acrylics, mixed media, sketchbook development, or a personal project) you are welcome to do so. Let your tutor know and they’ll support you with guidance, exercises, and next steps.

FAQ's
Do I need any previous art experience?
No. Complete beginners are very welcome. Our teachers adapt guidance to suit each person’s experience level.
What will I learn?
You’ll explore drawing, painting, colour, composition, and mixed media, alongside developing core art skills and techniques.
Is this a course or an ongoing class?
This is an ongoing weekly programme rather than a fixed-length course. You can join at any time and continue for as long as you wish.
What if I miss a session?
If you’re using a class pass or booking pay-as-you-go, you simply book the sessions you’re able to attend. Monthly memberships include one class per week. As with most studio classes, sessions booked but not attended are non-refundable and cannot be carried over.
Do I have to move up levels?
No. There are no formal levels. Progression happens naturally with teacher guidance.
Are materials included?
Yes. All core art materials are included.
What’s the difference between the Weekly Programme and Short Courses?
The Weekly Programme is broad and ongoing. Short Courses focus on a specific medium or theme for a set number of weeks.
How big are the classes?
Classes are small to ensure individual support.
Who teaches the classes?
Highly qualified and experienced art teachers.
Can I switch between days?
We ask students to attend their chosen regular class day where possible, as this helps maintain small, consistent groups. Very occasional one-off changes may be possible subject to space, but cannot be guaranteed.
Do you run during school holidays?
Adult classes usually continue during holidays. Any breaks are communicated in advance.
How do I cancel or pause?
Monthly memberships require 30 days’ notice.
