Looking for the perfect way to keep the kids entertained, creative, and learning during the school holidays? Our Kids Holiday Art Camps at |The Art School, Chester are packed with fun, inspiring activities designed to unleash every child’s imagination.

Open to children aged 6–14 years, each day is a new creative adventure where young artists explore painting, drawing, clay modelling, mixed media, and a variety of craft projects under the guidance of our friendly and experienced art tutors. Children will build confidence, develop artistic skills, and enjoy experimenting in a safe and supportive environment.

This is a drop-off class, giving parents a well-earned break while children enjoy a full day of creativity.

Children must bring:

A packed lunch
A water bottle
Any required medication (to be handed to staff with instructions)

Water and juice will be available for children throughout the day.

Whether they join us for a single day or book for the full week, every child will leave with unique masterpieces, a sense of achievement, and unforgettable memories!

🌎 Adventure Art Lab

Get ready for a week packed with creativity, imagination and hands-on art making in our exciting new Adventure Art Lab Summer Camp!

Designed to appeal to a wide range of ages and interests, this themed creative week combines real artistic skill-building with imaginative projects, painting, clay, mixed media and collaborative challenges.

Each day focuses on a different artistic theme and medium, meaning children can join for individual days or attend the full week experience.

Week 2: 28th - 31st July 2026

Wild Worlds Art Camp

Step into a world of jungles, rainforests, wild animals and adventurous landscapes in our exciting Wild Worlds Summer Creative Camp.

Across the week, children will explore drawing, watercolour painting, clay, collage and large-scale canvas techniques while creating artwork inspired by tropical birds, jungle creatures, safari animals, underwater worlds and exotic habitats.

Each day combines guided art tuition with imaginative hands-on projects designed to build confidence, creativity and artistic skills in a fun and welcoming studio environment.

Children can attend individual days or join the full week adventure.

Step into a world of pastel colours, adorable characters and imaginative creativity in our brand new Kawaii & Jellycat Inspired Summer Creative Camp!

This exciting themed week is perfect for children who love drawing, painting, clay modelling, cute characters, cosy creativity and all things kawaii. Each day features a completely different creative experience, meaning children can join for a single day or book multiple days across the week.

Our camps are designed to feel like a real artist’s studio experience — with guided tuition, high-quality materials, creative freedom and exciting take-home artwork every day.
