Beginner Life Drawing: Introduction Session

Curious about life drawing but feeling a little nervous? This welcoming beginner session is the perfect introduction.

Designed especially for complete beginners and first-timers, this class will gently guide you through the basics of drawing from the human figure in a calm, supportive studio environment. You’ll learn how a life drawing session works, what to expect, and how to approach the figure with confidence — no previous experience needed.

Throughout the evening, your tutor will introduce simple techniques to help you loosen up, observe proportion, capture movement, and begin drawing the body in a way that feels approachable rather than intimidating.

You’ll work through guided warm-ups, short timed poses, and longer drawing exercises, with plenty of encouragement and support along the way.
