Step into summer with this relaxed and inspiring 6-week sketchbook course, designed to help you capture the colour, light and beauty of the season through drawing, watercolour washes and mixed media.

Following naturally on from our Botanical Drawing & Painting course, Summer Sketchbook gives students the chance to loosen up, explore more expressive ways of working, and take inspiration from the world around them. You will study summer flowers, garden scenes, skies, landscapes, coastal colours and natural details, building a collection of beautiful sketchbook studies before developing a final summer-inspired artwork.

This course is perfect for both returning students and those new to the Friday adult class. Beginners will be gently guided through each

stage, while more experienced students can develop their own style, ideas and creative confidence.
