Whether you’re sculpting a glowing Jack-O’Lantern from clay, shaping your own Ghost Lantern, or painting a hauntingly beautiful Halloween canvas, our workshops are designed to spark your creativity and celebrate the season in true Art School style.

🎨 Halloween Creative Camps – October Half Term
Full day:
Looking for the perfect way to keep the kids entertained, creative, and learning during the school holidays? Our Kids Holiday Art Camps at |The Art School, Chester are packed with fun, inspiring activities designed to unleash every child’s imagination.
Open to children aged 6–14 years, each day is a new creative adventure where young artists explore painting, drawing, clay modelling, mixed media, and a variety of craft projects under the guidance of our friendly and experienced art tutors. Children will build confidence, develop artistic skills, and enjoy experimenting in a safe and supportive environment.
This is a drop-off class, giving parents a well-earned break while children enjoy a full day of creativity.
Children must bring:

Water and juice will be available for children throughout the day.

This October half term, The Art School Chester is running two full days of spooky, creative fun – each with a different theme so children can attend one or both!
✨ On Tuesday 28th October, young artists will make a glowing air-dry clay pumpkin lantern, create an eerie haunted house oil pastel piece, paint a spooky Halloween canvas, and enjoy a mix of Halloween-themed crafts.
🧙 On Friday 31st October, the magic continues with a witch’s hat door wreath, air-dry clay ghost figures, a spooky sky painting, and extra Halloween crafts to take home.
Both days are drop-off workshops led by qualified art teachers, with all materials provided. Just bring a nut-free packed lunch, water bottle, and clothes that can get a little messy.
