Explore how light transforms a painting — and learn how to create depth, mood and atmosphere through colour and tonal control.

This 6-week course focuses on understanding how light behaves within a landscape or still life, and how to translate that into confident, expressive paintwork. Working primarily in acrylic (with guidance adaptable to watercolour if appropriate), you will develop a stronger sense of space, contrast and subtle tonal shifts.
