🎨 Teen Creative Programme (Ages 11–16)

A weekly skills-based art programme where students develop drawing, painting, mixed media and portfolio skills through rotating themed projects across the year.

Our Teen Creative Programme is a weekly art membership designed for young people who want to develop real artistic skills in a supportive studio environment.

Students work through a rotating sequence of themed projects across drawing, painting, mixed media and clay, building confidence, technical ability and personal style over time.

This is an ongoing programme rather than short courses, allowing students to grow artistically across months and years, producing portfolio-quality work and developing strong foundations for GCSE, college and beyond.

Join at any point during the year.

Creativity + problem-solving

Standard Weekly Art Classes

Teens explore drawing, painting, mixed media and 3D processes while building core creative skills such as observation, colour mixing, composition, and creative thinking. Sessions are carefully planned to be engaging, confidence-building, and accessible for all abilities.

Classes are small, supportive, and focused — with children who genuinely enjoy making art, in a calm studio environment.

For children who want to explore, create and build confidence through art.

Weekly Art Classes with Arts Award

THE ARTS AWARD PATHWAY A recognised qualification awarded by Trinity College London Your

What is the Arts Award option?

Our weekly art class + Arts Award is designed for children and teens who would benefit from formal recognition of their creative work, while still enjoying the same relaxed, supportive studio environment.

Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification run by Trinity College London, and is completed alongside our weekly art classes — not as a separate lesson.

This option suits children who enjoy:

  • developing ideas over time

  • reflecting on their work

  • learning about artists and creative careers

  • working towards a clear goal

HOW IT WORKS

Teens attend a weekly class at a regular time. We don’t run our children’s classes as drop-in sessions. Instead, teens enrol into a weekly programme so they can settle into a group and progress confidently. Classes are Term time only.

Our enrolment process:

1️⃣ Enrol into a weekly art programme: Teens attend the same weekly class each term, building skills in a consistent group.

2️⃣ Choose your pathway
Children can attend:

  • Standard Weekly Fine Art class

  • Weekly Fine Art class  + Arts Award

3️⃣ Monthly membership: Memberships run on a rolling monthly basis. No rebooking required. 30 days notice to cancel

4️⃣ Progress at your teen’s pace: Arts Award can be added when and if your child is ready — it’s not compulsory.

This approach keeps classes calm, consistent, and supportive for every child.
