Week 1 – Seeing Shape & Proportion Break subjects down into simple shapes and learn how to measure and place objects accurately on the page.

Week 2 – Line & Structure Refine your drawings with confident line work, improving accuracy and structure.

Week 3 – Light & Shadow (Tone) Understand how light falls across objects and build tonal values to create depth and form.

Week 4 – Composition & Arrangement Explore how to arrange objects for strong, balanced compositions that feel intentional and engaging.

Week 5 – Introducing Colour Learn colour mixing and relationships, translating tonal studies into simple painted still life.

Week 6 – Final Piece Create a resolved still life artwork combining drawing, tone, and colour with tutor guidance.
